This is always an exciting time for me as an author, all the hard work coming together and presented in a small paperback and ebook to the world. 

Master Chef

I am pleased to say that my short story, 'Master Chef,' was published by Kitaab.org magazine in Singapore today 22nd July, 2023. It is also the Editor's pick of the week, an added bonus. It is free to read for one week. I hope people enjoy it.

MY NEW NOVEL 2023

I am happy to announce that my new novel, IN GOD'S COUNTRY, KARWAR, will be published this autumn/winter 2023 by Leadstart Publishing, India. 'A story of long-lost love, friendship and murder, set in the scenic coastal town of Karwar, India.' Now, I will be working with the editor to make the novel better. Another exciting journey begins, and we hope the readers will like the novel.

Midnight Diner

I've been watching Season 1 of this terrific Japanese show on Netflix, Midnight Diner. Really good acting, writing and story telling. Add great Japanese cuisine cooked with care and attention. This is a meditation in itself. Highly recommended.

New version better

It has taken a little longer than I thought but the new version of my novel is better. Sometimes it's a big mistake to rush out for publication when the novel isn't ready. You see it in films, books, TV series, where the scenes are rushed, dialogues are poor, editing not concise. I'm hopeful now that the novel is leaner and in better shape. I've reduced certain characters, given prominence to the main characters. You try to do your best and hope the readers warm to all your hard work in the novel. It always requires courage on the part of the writer to publish their work, for the world is an unforgiving place. Yet there are also good people out there who appreciate your honest efforts. I'm hopeful this novel will soon be accepted for publication.
